4 Ways To Achieve Your New Year’s Resolution

Everyone Talks About Their New Year’s Resolution

and I’m sure we have heard them all; Hitting the gym, traveling more often, making more money, getting the dream job, etc. so instead of telling you my new years resolutions, Im going to show you how to reach them and stick to the plan so keep reading!

WAY #1: Put Your Goals In Writing

This might sound like a no-brainer but it seriously can keep you on track. I have a daily planner and use it to jot down all of my ideas and reminders including my resolutions with a time frame. If you don’t have a planner no worries because you have one of your phone! Set yourself alarm reminder and positive affirmations daily to keep you focused. This brings us to “way” number 2.

WAY #2: Set A Time Frame

Calculate a time frame of when you want to reach your goal. Be realistic though, don’t set a time frame that may lead you to fail. I can’t tell myself I’m going to lose 30lbs in 3 weeks then get discouraged and upset with myself when I haven’t achieved it.

WAY #3: Don’t Be Too Hard On Yourself

If for whatever reason you have derailed from your resolution, don’t waste your time beating yourself up for it. Realizing and admitting that you fell off track is the first step to getting back on track!

WAY #4: Focus On Your Progress And Not Others

Now this rule may be easier for some than others but it’s such an important rule. Think about how far you have progressed and don’t get hung up on your friends/family’s successes. Everyone is different and as long as you focus on yourself and what you want to achieve, then you will achieve it. Only those who want it bad enough will always succeed so remember that!
