Clearly, I’m Going Through A Margarita Moment
and have been experimenting with flavors to enhance the already so popular, Cadillac Margarita. Don’t get me wrong, a classic is a classic and I love grand marnier orange liqueur until I discovered the perfect addition. Keep reading if your curious to find out what it is.
The Ingredients To A Cadillac Margarita Include
- Top shelf reposado tequila 1 1/2 ounces
- Grand marnier orange liqueur 1 ounce
- Lime half
- Salt for glass rim
- Ice
- Ginger beer *optional* splash
Start by lightly coating the glass rim with lime juice then add salt and set glass aside. In a shaker, add tequila, grand marnier, lime juice and Ice. Shake vigorously for a few seconds and strain into glass. Now add splash of ginger beer.
Ginger beer gives it just the right amount of carbonation and complimenting kick to your taste buds that will blow you away. This recipe has become one of my favorites and hope it soon becomes yours as well.
