Assuming we have all been exposed to this tasty drink at some point in our lives right? Well for those that haven’t been or have no idea what I am talking about, here’s a little 411.
Jungle Juice is an alcoholic drink which usually contains rum, vodka, and/or everclear that is mixed and poured into a large bowl with fresh cut fruit. It’s left to marinate in the fridge for several hours (2-4) or overnight for a tasty tropical punch that is sure to get the party going. Jungle juice is super easy to make and it’s relatively quick once you have all the fruit cut up; just pop it in the fridge and your party will have a never ending drink to sip on. Over the weekend, I had a jungle themed party and obviously had to make a batch of jungle juice to go with it. I ended up letting the punch marinate for about 3 hours which was perfect in my opinion; I don’t like it sitting for too long I get anxious!

This is what I used for my Jungle Juice…..
- 1 bottle of Passion Fruit Rum
- 1 bottle of Coconut Rum
- 1 bottle of Vodka
- 1 container of Coconut water with mango
- 1 bottle of Peach nectar
- 1 bottle of Ginger ale
- 5 Oranges
- 5 Lemons
- 1 box of Strawberries
I set aside a large punch bowl and started slicing my oranges, lemons, and strawberries. I then placed all of the fruit in my bowl and added all of the above ingredients except the ginger ale. I covered the bowl with plastic wrap and placed in fridge for 3 hours (minimum.) When guests start arriving, top off punch bowl with ginger ale and slowly stir all ingredients and serve.

There’s nothing to it really and the flavor options are endless so don’t be afraid to experiment and use whatever you have on hand. Cheers my friends!
