Summer Nights Downtown Are The Best In Salt Lake City; Have you ever been? Temperatures are warm, high 70’s with a light warm breeze it’s comforting. The east and west mountains look so beautiful and the moon lights up the city in a cool glow. With summer nights like these, it is hard to stay indoors especially, on the weekends. So tell me, what are you planning on wearing?
I Chose This Outfit For A Night Out On The Town with some friends. We planned on hitting a local bar with an awesome outdoor patio area and obviously delicious cocktails to start the night. I wanted to be comfortable yet stylish so I paired a burnt orange spaghetti strap top that I purchased from Madewell, black faux leather high waisted leggings that I purchased from Nordstrom, and black peep toe Mary Janes that I purchased from a vintage shop. I accessorizes with a black Tory Burch purse, a Fossil rose gold watch, and gold drop earrings from BaubleBar.
Without heels and accessories, this outfit would look too casual for the occasion and I really wanted to look more put together and “ready for wherever the night takes us” in a sense. Now, I don’t know if you know this about me but I am 5’3 and my legs aren’t super long so to help elongate them, I always look for high waisted anything; Jeans, skirt, leggings, etc. to create the illusion of longer, leaner legs. (I just revealed my trick to you all by the way.) I tucked in my top, accessorized, put on an orangey-red lip and I was out the door.
